After 39 years of trading and with the move to digital technology PNC has now moved out of central London to Tonbridge in Kent.
We offer a collection and delivery service to all companies in the UK via our van service and via Fedex to the rest of the world.
This move made in response to the high rents in London and requests from our customers for me not to retire just yet. This was the only way to continue as the gaps between jobs gets bigger. I am happy to set up a cutting room at the studios or the laboratories for major pictures should the production company require me too.
Our negative management service has now become a major part of our services on offer along with our traditional negative cutting service, with more post production being carried out in UK on overseas produced productions the requirement for the negative to be visually examined, logged and crossed checked, well in advance of cutting or scanning the negative has become vital .
Once the negative has been logged and checked, your cutting copy or EDL can be translated into cut lists ready for negative cutting in to either frame accurate cut negative for printing or for scanning via overlength selects or whole slates.
All formats are catered for, 16mm, 35mm 2 perf, 3 perf, 4 perf, final conform EDL’s can be produced in PAL 24/25, NTSC drop and non-drop film formats.
As many of you know film labs are closing or deleting a lot of there services while UK labs still offer a almost full range of 35mm services, 16mm is a different story, but there is still hope after spending a week in Cineco in Amsterdam.
I can confirm that they still offer a full range of 16mm developing and printing on 16mm in colour and black and white they also have a 16mm rostrum camera, they of course offer a full 35mm service as well as TK transfers and full sound services.
