| PNC
was founded in 1971 as a small but specialised negative cutting
service.
We began by
looking after the needs of Thames Television, Central Television,
Euston Films (The Sweeney and Minder) and the local
Soho film makers.
After 19 years
based in Dean Street, London, the company moved to its current Soho
site in Carlisle Street. |
|
In
1996, as a result of our continuing success, PNC set up a new service
under the name PAL (Professional Audio) to specialise in video rushes
synching.
PAL, based
at our Soho site in Carlisle Street, is equipped with what we believe
to be the most comprehensive and versatile non-linear editing system
available today, that being Sadie. |
| Following
the introduction of our first OSC/R systems, the neg. cutting operation
expanded so rapidly that further systems had to be quickly installed
to cope with demand. Which then led to the opening of our second
branch in Shepherds Bush. |
|

|
Programme
makers, perhaps more so today than at any other time, demand excellence
and perfection
in all areas of production and post production.
At PNC and
PAL we provide this excellence of service. |
|
The continuing growth of the business has demanded even further
expansion and this branch is now located in much larger premises
in West London.
With PNC acquiring
a greater percentage of the features market each year, we were soon
in need of yet another office and in 1999 opened up our third branch
at Technicolor Laboratories. |
We constantly update in new technology and our highly trained
and experienced staff match their attention to detail with customer
care.
With our years
of experience and over 15,000 commercials, programs and feature
productions to our credit PNC is the UK's fastest expanding company
in the negative cutting business. |
